We are seeking a highly motivated and practical individual to join our team as a Trainee Fire Sprinkler Engineer. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and industry-recognised qualifications in the installation, maintenance, and testing of fire sprinkler systems. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced engineers to develop the skills needed to become a fully qualified Fire Sprinkler Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Learn to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Support in identifying faults, carrying out repairs, and replacing components when required.
- Follow company procedures and ensure compliance with relevant fire protection standards (e.g., BS EN 12845, LPCB).
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition.
- Complete training modules, attend safety briefings, and participate in assessments as part of professional development.
- Foster positive communication with clients, contractors, and team members on site.
- Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly observed at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

- CSCS card or willingness to obtain one.

- No previous experience necessary—full training is provided.

- Structured training programme leading to qualifications such as: LPCB / BAFE training modules, NVQ in Fire Sprinkler Installation, in-house technical and safety training.
Clear progression path to roles such as: Fire Sprinkler Engineer, Lead Engineer, Project Supervisor / Manager.
