As Head of Projects, you'll lead a portfolio worth £30–40m annually, with full accountability for delivery, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.

You'll act as the single point of contact for all projects, working closely with the client PMO and senior stakeholders to shape strategy, drive consistency, and deliver excellence across multiple sites. This is a high-impact, visible role where cultural fit, relationship management, and leadership are just as critical as technical capability.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and inspire a team of 20–30 project professionals across the UK
  • Own full P&L responsibility (£30–40m), driving profit, cost control, and growth
  • Oversee delivery of high-volume, complex projects (£25k–£15m), including:
    • M&E and asset upgrades
    • Refurbishments and building fabric improvements
    • Manufacturing environment enhancements and installations
    • Energy and sustainability projects
  • Act as trusted advisor to the client, influencing CAPEX strategy and delivery models
  • Drive best-in-class health, safety, and governance standards
  • Strengthen long-term client relationships in a demanding, high-performance environment
  • Ensure strong commercial discipline, billing accuracy, and cash collection

What We're Looking For

  • Strong leadership experience managing projects in FM, construction, or manufacturing environments
  • Proven track record delivering across complex, multi-site portfolios
  • Commercially astute with experience owning large budgets/P&L
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate at senior levels
  • Project Management qualification (essential)
