Role: Shift Electrical Engineer/Electrician
Hours: 40 Hrs. Full Time - 3 shift system (Morning – 6am-2pm (Mon-Friday), Afternoon 2pm – 10pm (Monday to Thurs then Friday 10am – 6pm), Nights 10pm-6am (Monday till Friday morning 6am))

We're looking for a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer – Electrical Engineer Bias who will work with a range of Mitie clients to conduct work that provides a multi-skilled maintenance service across electrical and mechanical disciplines within an operational environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Complete electrical installations and assist tradespeople with wiring, calibration, and alignment tasks
- Carry out testing, fault diagnosis, repairs, and updates to maintenance work orders
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant to optimise reliability and maintainability
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures—no live working permitted, ensuring a safe working environment
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, attend toolbox talks, and liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition) in Electrical Installations
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant, and controls
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and procedures
- Self-motivated, well-organised, and eager to learn
- Respectful, professional, and confident in raising safety concerns
