Responsibilities
- Lead a cleaning team and deputise for the day shift supervisor in their absence on a 4-on 4-off rolling shift from 7am to 7pm.
- Provide clear direction and communication (verbal and written) to the team; manage and prioritise workload with a proactive approach.
- Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order; meet all agreed SLAs.
- Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and schedule work in line with current SLAs, while following Health and Safety requirements.
- Undertake all required training to deliver the Team Leader role successfully.
- Manage a team, work under own initiative, and build positive relationships with the team, clients and colleagues; deliver excellent customer service and pursue continuous improvement.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Ability to communicate and read basic English.
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- Previous team-leading experience with a proactive approach and the ability to manage and prioritise workload.
- Flexible, open, honest, self-driven and determined; reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
