As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you are required to assist passengers with reduced mobility and hidden disabilities throughout their journey, ensuring their safety and treating them with dignity.
- Assist passengers in moving, using wheelchairs, aisle chairs or other suitable means, and aid with luggage when required.
- Complete all tasks and duties on site as defined in the published Safe Systems of Work (SSoW).
- Proactively report all safety concerns and instances to your supervisor, ensuring compliance with industry legislation, including EC1107.
- Use AvTech PDA devices to record details of a passenger's journey.
- Identify and immediately report any Health and Safety concerns.
- Undertake additional training as required for continuous self-development.
