We're looking for a Project Engineer who will manage commercial swimming pool water treatment and plant installation projects from handover through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely and on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects from contract award through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Liaise closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from quotation to project delivery, whilst maintaining regular communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate internal administration, procurement and logistics teams, whilst organising and managing in-house engineers and specialist subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress, programme schedules and project costs, attend site meetings, and ensure specifications and quality standards are achieved.
- Prepare and issue Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies and CDM requirements, and proactively identify and resolve project issues.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial swimming pool plant installation, water treatment, or a related mechanical services industry.
- Previous experience managing projects, engineers and subcontractors.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience producing project plans and schedules.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of CDM regulations, construction project management principles, and a recognised Project Management qualification are desirable but not essential.
