Position Overview

We’re looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and maintaining outdoor spaces to the highest quality.

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Type: Full Time
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Pay: £13.45 per hour
  • Location: Chelmsford, Essex, England, CM1 1HT

Role Responsibilities

  • Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking
  • Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively
  • Deliver winter services including gritting, snow clearance, and Christmas tree installation
  • Report site hazards and relevant information to management
  • Follow health and safety procedures and undertake additional training as required

What We’re Looking For

  • Passion for working outdoors in agile and flexible environments
  • Good understanding of smartphone technology
  • Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential
  • PAI & PA6 spraying licence is a plus
  • Full UK driving licence preferred for roles involving company vehicles
