Job Overview

Mitie have a brand new opportunity for a driven management professional to support and lead our on-site Hygiene team, ensuring the highest quality services are completed for client satisfaction in the cleaning and hygiene services.

Main Duties

  • Maintain and audit the key operational documentation, e.g. Cleaning schedules (daily and periodic), Cleaning Risk Assessments, Cleaning Instruction Cards, Training Records etc.
  • Schedule training requirements for staff.
  • Lead the cleaning team, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and in a safe manner.
  • Ensure all aspects of the hygiene service are carried out and maintained to the required standard.
  • Complete compliance audits, inspections of internal hygiene standards.
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt to changes in emphasis, or aspects of, the regional business requirements.
  • Ensure operation of the contract and one-off work is in line with the company procedures and be responsible for the associated company assets and facilities.
  • Conduct team performance reviews, payroll and assigned work for the day.

What we are looking for

  • Experience working in a Food Manufacturing / Food Hygiene background/ FMCG.
  • Desirable - A Level 3 Food Safety Qualification.
  • Experience managing large, high-volume teams.
  • Client-Facing Experience.
  • Health and Safety knowledge and experience.
  • Experience of BRC (British Retail Consortium) and customer audits.
  • Strong communication skills and experienced in using Microsoft Office packages.
