We are looking for a Water Technician – Level 1 who will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and monitoring of water treatments for our customers. This role ensures that water is safe and meets regulatory standards.
Role Responsibilities:
- TMV valve servicing both failsafe and strip down
- Cleaning of the cooling towers & tanks (2nd person)
- Tank inspections
- Temperature monitoring and accurate recording of results
- Sampling of domestic systems and accurate submission to the laboratory
- Descaling and cleaning of showers & shower heads
- Flushing of little-used outlets
- Complete allocated jobs within the agreed timescales.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and submit on the electronic system in live time.
- Carry out tasks allocated to you in accordance with all method statements and the fundamental rules of Marlowe Environmental Services.
- Must not exceed one audit failure per year.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong basic water treatment knowledge with the ability to apply analytical, problem-solving and sound decision-making skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication, good literacy, and strong client-service skills.
- Excellent time management and administration abilities, including confidence using phone or tablet apps in line with our systems.
- Demonstrates excellent time-keeping, cultural awareness, sound work ethics and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Holds a valid UK Driving Licence and meets compliant DBS and customer-specific security check requirements.
