ROLE: Stores Operative
HOURS: Full Time, 40 Hours per Week (Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30)
LOCATION: Whitefield, Manchester

We are looking for a Stores Operative to join Vantage Lifting Solutions, part of Mitie Telecoms, supporting the day-to-day running of a busy stores operation in Whitefield, Manchester.
This is a hands‑on role where you will help ensure the efficient receipt, storage, tracking and distribution of materials and equipment. You will play a key part in keeping the stores organised, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring operational teams have the equipment and resources they need to succeed.
Role Responsibilities
- Receive, unload and safely store deliveries.
- Book goods in and out using the inventory management system.
- Maintain accurate stock records and produce inventory reports.
- Keep storage areas clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety standards.
- Support the movement, handling and distribution of materials and equipment.
- Assist with deliveries, collections and general labouring duties as required.
- Support vehicle management activities, including vehicle tracking, vehicle checks and administration.
- Follow all company policies, procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to carry out manual handling and physical duties.
- Basic IT skills to support inventory and stock control processes.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Fork Lift Truck Licence.
