Overview
We’re looking for a confident and professional Security Officer to join our team at a high-quality corporate site. This role blends security operations with front-of-house customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people while maintaining a safe and secure environment. You’ll be a key point of contact on site, representing both the client and the security team, and playing an important role in day-to-day operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing a welcoming, professional service to staff, visitors, contractors, and stakeholders
- Monitoring CCTV, access control, and other security systems
- Responding to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
- Carrying out internal and external patrols in line with site procedures
- Managing visitor access, contractor passes, keys, and car parking lists
- Escorting contractors and service providers as required
- Completing accurate incident reports and security documentation
- Liaising with landlord security teams, Corporate Security, and the London Command Centre
- Providing cover for the receptionist during breaks and on-site events when needed
Full site and corporate security training will be provided, including emergency procedures and probationary assessments.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 3 years' security experience
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence
- First Aid training and certification
- Experience using CCTV and electronic access control systems
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Windows and MS Office
- A good level of physical fitness for patrol duties
Desirable (but not essential):
- SIA CCTV licence
- SC Clearance
