Key Objectives & Responsibilities

  • Ensure personal and field activity compliance with all COMPANY Health, Safety and Environmental Policies, and adhere to customer site rules and procedures.
  • Attention to proactive KPI's and personal safety plans.
  • Contribute diligently to Team Performance Plan (TPP).
  • Ensure RAMS are supplied for all visits.
  • Be familiar with and comply with EQUIPMENT SERVICE processes.
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with customers.
  • Planning and scheduling of field service engineers and subcontractor work.
  • Coordinating work with other COMPANY departments.
  • Arranging parts for service visits / breakdowns / installs.
  • Answering incoming customer calls and handling as required.
  • Support account managers with information on spare parts and prices.
  • Action and respond to emails in a timely manner.
  • Place orders with suppliers.
  • Learning about our products to provide advice to customers to assist in resolving their problems.
  • Work with engineering project teams and account managers to effectively and efficiently instigate visits and present one COMPANY approach.
  • Support roll out of new products and services.
  • Endeavour to provide value-added, differential advantage in service work focusing on:
    • How we can decrease cost of operation.
    • Improve operating efficiency.
    • Minimise Environmental, Health and Safety issues.
    • Seek and share learning and continuous improvement.

You may also be required to carry out other duties within the scope and purpose of this role as requested by your line manager and in line with business needs.

Ad Hoc Duties

  • Support in the day to day running of the warehouse, e.g. taking in deliveries and supporting the field managers in keeping it a safe working environment.

Person Specification

  • 1 year relevant work experience desired in an appropriate environment, ideally in the water treatment sector.
  • Ability to handle emergency & pressured situations, and be able to prioritise workload efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Logical and well organised with flexible and transferable skills.
  • Good MS Office skills.
  • Must hold full UK driving license and must be able to travel and stay overnight if required.
