We’re looking for an experienced Head of Payroll to lead and transform large‑scale Payroll and Time & Attendance services supporting over 75,000 colleagues. This is a senior leadership role where you’ll own the end‑to‑end payroll experience, delivering accurate, compliant and reliable services at pace while driving continuous improvement through automation, digitalisation and data‑led insight. You’ll also lead strategic relationships with outsourced and offshore partners, ensuring best‑in‑class service delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading end‑to‑end T&A and Payroll Services at scale
- Owning colleague payroll experience and service performance
- Driving process optimisation, automation and transformation
- Managing complex payroll transitions, including TUPE activity
- Leading outsourced and offshore payroll partnerships
- Building and developing high‑performing payroll teams
About you:
- Proven senior leadership experience in large‑scale payroll operations
- Deep knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Experience with outsourced or offshore payroll models
- Strong change leadership and senior stakeholder management skills
- CIPP qualified or equivalent
