Mitie has a great opportunity at The Bullring Shopping Centre, Birmingham. We are looking for an experienced Control Room Assistant to join the team on site. The shift pattern is 4 on 4 off with an hourly rate of £13.56 working 42 hours a week. You will report directly to the Duty Controller.
Within this role you will be expected to:
- Ensure CCTV is effectively monitored across the whole scheme escalating issues as necessary
- Escalate incidents to the relevant personnel
- Highlight Health and Safety issues and report to Tech Services
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all departments
- Monitor security entry and exit to the service yard
- Assist the Duty Controller in updating Control Room records
- Assist in issuing Contractor ID passes and keys
- Assist customers and retailers with their enquiries on the telephone
- Direct Security officers on the mall to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for customers, retailers and contractors
- Flexibility to pick up overtime on the other team
- Perform general administration duties if required
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Literate and numerate
- Flexibility to work shifts on a 24 hour rota
- Knowledge of CCTV operations, including Data Protection
- SIA Security CCTV License is essential
