ROLE: Electrical Project Manager – Major Projects (Energy & Utilities)

HOURS: 40 hours per week

LOCATION: Bromsgrove

We're looking for an Electrical Project Manager who will deliver projects within the Major Projects (MP) portfolio, overseeing the construction, installation, and commissioning of new electricity contestable connections up to 132kV, along with associated Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end project management, ensuring scope, budget, and client expectations are consistently met.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects and maintain accurate internal/external reporting.
  • Engage clients for design feedback and approval submissions.
  • Plan programmes of work with key client contacts, establishing milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor financial control, including variations, and keep accurate budget records.
  • Prepare detailed work instructions and ensure installation teams are fully briefed.
  • Conduct audits on site activities and suppliers, raising and mitigating non-conformances.
  • Ensure compliance with NRSWA, HAUC, DNO, and IDNO specifications.
  • Undertake final quality audits and submit accurate documentation for client/DNO approval.

Required Qualifications:

  • Project Management qualification – Essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within HV/LV installations – Essential
  • Strong knowledge of contestable connections up to 132kV – Essential
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to forward plan – Essential
