Are you a technically skilled professional with experience in data centres or critical environments? We are seeking a motivated individual to monitor and control cooling, power, and other critical systems. You'll perform emergency repairs, analyse facility data, and support maintenance activities. This role requires strong communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work under pressure.

This role exists to ensure the smooth operation and reliability of critical infrastructure systems, minimising downtime and optimising performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control the operation of essential systems such as cooling, power, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Perform emergency repairs and conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment health.
  • Analyse facility data to identify trends and optimise performance.
  • Develop and maintain clear operational procedures and accurately log activities.
  • Utilise Work Notification systems and support planned preventative maintenance activities.
  • Assist specialist sub-contractors and ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year working in data centres or critical environments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in fault diagnostics, BMS/PMS systems, and building services trades (UPS, Diesel Generators, HVAC, etc.).
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in mechanical and electrical engineering, such as City & Guilds and 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers registration. (Desirable)
  • Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management.
  • Adaptability: Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure, and adjust rapidly to changing work demands or business needs.
