At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a Mobile Fabric Engineer who will be supporting the delivery of building maintenance and fabric services across the estate.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Carry out Building Maintenance Technician duties, such as but not limited to maintenance/repair to joinery; maintenance/minor repair to building fabric, painting/touching up to properties, minor mechanical/electrical repairs; minor repair to plumbing systems and clearing blockages; gutter & gulley clearance.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance jobs assigned; Lath & Plaster inspections; repairs and modifications to tiling; repairs and modification to door locks and door jamb repair, hanging doors, adjusting and installing door closers; repairs and maintenance to ceiling tiles, and any general repair to the facility that is required to maintain the standard of the building.
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of general building and fabric maintenance.
  • Support for all general handyman duties for 2-man working and absence cover.
  • Undertake minor works/alterations.
  • Ensuring equipment is kept clean, in working order and sent for repair where necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures and maintain a positive Health and Safety Culture.
  • Ensure that service delivery meets the requirements of performance targets, KPIs and Health & Safety.
  • Out of Hours call out (On call) approx, every 8 weeks, subject to satisfactory probationary period.
