We'relookingforanexperiencedMulti-skilledEngineer–ElectricalBias to work with a key Mitie client to conductworkthatprovidesamulti-skilledmaintenanceservice,coveringelectricalandmechanicaldisciplines,andtoprovideareactiveandpro-activemaintenanceserviceaspersiterequirementstoalloperationalequipment.
RoleResponsibilities: Youwillberesponsibleforcarryingoutmodificationsandinstallationswhenrequired,maintaining,repairing,andcalibratingelectrical,mechanicalandinstrumentationplanttooptimisebothreliabilityandmaintainability.
Youwillprovideaservicethatensuresallkeyperformanceindicatorsaremetandliaisewithcontractorsorexternalsupplierswhererequired.
Youwillneedtocompleteanyrequiredpaperworkandproducereportsaccuratelyandonatimelybasis.
You should carry out work to high standards andinlinewithcurrentcompanypoliciesandprocedures,reportinganyapparentdeficienciesinsystemsofworkorequipmentprovidedthatmayresultinfailureofservicedelivery,orrisktohealthandsafety,ortheenvironment.
Youwillberesponsibleforensuringyourownworkandtheworkofthoseundersupervisioniscompletedinasafeanddiligentmanner.
RequiredQualifications:applicantsmustmeetthebelowdefinedrequirementsfortherole.
Theidealcandidatewouldhaveappropriateup-to-datetraining,suchasanNVQLevel3qualificationinEngineeringMaintenance,multi-discipline.
YouwillhavegoodknowledgeofbuildingStatutoryCompliance.
YouwillneedtoberesponsibleforyourselfandotherstomaintainasafeworkingenvironmentaspertheHealthandSafetyatWorkAct1974.Youwillneedtobeabletoreadandunderstandtechnicaldrawings.
