As a Mitie CPO, you will operate within structured teams delivering high-level protective security to senior principals, government officials, and corporate leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver close protection in accordance with Mitie SOPs and client expectations
  • Conduct dynamic risk assessments, route planning and threat mitigation
  • Liaise professionally with principals, private offices and partner agencies
  • Maintain situational awareness and manage security incidents appropriately
  • Assist with logistical planning, recon, venue sweeps and advance work
  • Uphold Mitie values, compliance obligations and professional standards
  • Maintain accurate reporting, documentation and operational records

Essential Requirements:

  • SIA Close Protection Licence
  • Proven CP experience (government, corporate, diplomatic or media)
  • Strong understanding of the UK threat environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Full UK driving licence
  • High standards of integrity, discipline and presentation

Desirable:

  • Medical qualifications (FPOSi/FREC3/4, or equivalent)
  • Experience on ministerial, corporate or HNW contracts
  • Willingness to undergo MITIE BS7858 vetting and if required CTC / SC Govt vetting
