Reference: 103808Full-time | Static siteWe're looking for a Static Mechanical Engineer to join our team, delivering high-quality maintenance services on a single site. You'll play a key role in ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant and operating efficiently while providing excellent service to our client.Role Responsibilities:Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plumbing, ventilation (AHUs, extract/intake), heating and cooling systems (FCUs, thermal wheels), and water assets (booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters)Identify and report defects, ensuring all documentation, inspection reports and remedial logs are completed accurately and on timeRespond to client queries and deliver a high standard of customer service at all timesWork safely in line with Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work and safe systems of work, including tasks at heightBuild positive working relationships with clients and colleagues, contributing to a collaborative team environmentWhat we're looking for:Experience working in maintenance or facilities management environmentsRelevant mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent)Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practicesComfortable using IT systems and mobile devices for reporting and workflowsStrong communication skills with a proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work under pressureWillingness and ability to obtain MET Police SC Clearance (can take up to 7-10 months)What's in it for you?Opportunities for training and development to support your career progression on a prestigious public sector contract.A supportive team environment with strong client interactionThe chance to work on a stable, static site with a varied workloadThere's a place for you at Mitie, join us today!Ref:103808 Location:London Employment:Full time
