b Overview /b p In this role you lead electrical maintenance on a Defence sector PFI contract to ensure safety, compliance, and continuous service. You will supervise a team of electricians and technicians, oversee LV/HV systems, and manage faults and inspections on critical assets. You act as Authorised Person for safe isolations and permit control, while promoting a strong health and safety culture. This position offers exposure to a high-stakes defence environment with opportunities for growth and professional development. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li competitive salary /li li additional payment for AP duties /li li ongoing training and development /li li AP certification and refreshers /li li career progression potential in defence environment /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Supervise planned preventative and reactive electrical works with emphasis on safety and workmanship /li li Lead and support electricians/technicians, ensuring adherence to electrical standards and procedures /li li Manage faults, breakdowns, testing, and inspections on critical Defence assets and naval accommodation /li li Act as Authorised Person for LV/HV systems, overseeing safe isolations, switching, and permit control /li li Promote health and safety culture and ensure compliance with Permit to Work and LOTO procedures /li li Oversee contractor performance to meet safety, quality, and contractual requirements /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) /li li 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification /li li Experience operating LV/HV systems with at least 5 years in electrical maintenance /li li Previous supervisory or team leadership experience (AP certification or willingness to train preferred) /li li Experience using CAFM systems to manage work orders, schedules, asset data, and compliance (desirable) /li /ul ul li leadership and people management /li li strong safety culture and communication /li li problem solving under pressure /li li LV/HV electrical systems /li li Authorised Person (AP) duties /li li Permit to Work and LOTO procedures /li /ul
