Mitie are currently looking to recruit a Security Operations Support Manager to oversee a key client contract ensuring the delivery of agreed contract objectives/targets. This role is flexible with home working and a requirement to visit site one to two times a week. Site Location - Norwich - There is free parking available and it is essential that the applicant lives within about 30 minutes.
Hours - 40 per week. Mainly Monday to Friday with an occasional requirement to start and finish later to visit site.
Pay Rate - 16
Our Operations Support Manager will be assisting with managing the day to day operations of the site through effective management of staff. The Operations Support Manager will work closely with the Management Team and onsite staff and ensure that all business-related tasks are completed in a timely fashion. The main duties of the Operations Support Manager will include (but not be limited to):
- Ensuring employee welfare checks are completed
- Scheduling
- Ensure training plan is monitored and delivered
- Conduct return to work interviews
- Manage any blow outs
- Help complete monthly report and present to the client
- To assist in recruitment of employees, working in conjunction with the Corporate Security Manager
- Conduct disciplinary and sickness investigations with employees
- Conduct and monitor staff appraisals
- Set clear objectives, support and develop all direct reports and ensure appropriate succession plans are in place
- Build, maintain and manage positive relationships
- Act as Duty Manager in the absence of the Operations Manager
The Security Operations Support Manager will have:
- Full driving licence
- Front line SIA licence
- At least 2 years security industry experience (preferable)
- Financial awareness
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in problem solving
- Previous management/supervisory experience
- Good IT and systems knowledge
