Job Summary The Estimator is responsible for assessing, costing, and preparing pricing proposals for cybersecurity projects, services, and solutions.
This role works closely with solution architects, project managers, and technical teams to develop accurate estimates for cybersecurity implementations, managed security services, compliance projects, and security consulting engagements.
The Estimator ensures that all bids, tenders, and proposals align with customer requirements, organizational capabilities, and commercial objectives while maintaining competitive and profitable pricing.
Key Responsibilities Estimating & Costing Analyze customer requirements, Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and Statements of Work (SOWs).
Develop detailed cost estimates for cybersecurity solutions and services.
Prepare pricing models for: Security operations center (SOC) services Managed security services (MSS)Calculate labour, software licensing, hardware, and operational costs.
Experience3–7 years of experience in the cyber / tech / electrical security industry- pre-sales, estimating, bid management, or solution design.
Experience preparing commercial proposals and cost estimates for technical projects.
Knowledge of cybersecurity services, technologies, and delivery models.
