We're looking for an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance, repair, and operation of building services systems while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

Role Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and emergency breakdown repairs across electrical, mechanical, and fabric services.

Ensure all service desk tasks and maintenance activities are completed within agreed SLA and contractual timescales.

Maintain statutory and non-statutory compliance records, including emergency lighting, fan coil units, water testing regimes, and associated logbooks.

Supervise subcontractors and ensure all work is completed safely, in accordance with company policies, permit-to-work systems, and Health & Safety requirements.

Procure materials and equipment, support energy reduction initiatives, and assist across the wider property portfolio when required.

Required Qualifications Applicants must meet the below-defined requirements for the role: City & Guilds Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline.

Proven experience in maintenance, testing, fault-finding, and repair of building services equipment, including boiler plant, ventilation systems, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, lighting, and small power installations.

Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation, safe working practices, and permit-to-work procedures.

Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.

Proactive approach to identifying, diagnosing, and resolving faults, with the ability to complete documentation accurately and on time.
