We're looking for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join our team supporting the MET Police estate across South London. In this role, you'll deliver planned and reactive maintenance across critical building systems, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

We're looking for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer who can maintain and repair mechanical systems across police facilities, delivering high-quality service on every visit.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and fault finding on mechanical systems.
  • Maintain and repair systems including AHUs, ventilation (intake/extract), FCUs, heating and cooling systems, and water assets (booster sets, chlorifiers, water heaters).
  • Respond to client queries on-site and provide clear updates on works undertaken.
  • Accurately complete all documentation, including service reports, inspection logs, and remedial actions.
  • Support on-call rota and travel between sites within the same contract area.

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Plumbing, Heating, and Ventilation (City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in commercial mechanical maintenance or facilities management.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain MET Police CTC Clearance (process can take up to 7-10 months).
