We're looking for a Construction Project Manager who will oversee and manage construction, M&E, and refurbishment projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery to the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Role

Responsibilities: Plan and oversee construction and refurbishment projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all project objectives are met.

Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule, and communicate them to stakeholders, clients, and project team members.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that project designs and specifications are accurate and feasible.

Coordinate and manage all construction activities, including procurement of materials, scheduling of subcontractors, and overseeing construction progress.

Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and track project expenses throughout construction.

Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders and team members to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure effective communication.

Proactively identify and resolve any construction-related issues, delays, or conflicts that may impact project delivery.

Manage and lead a team of construction professionals, including contractors, supervisors, and labourers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety, and address any issues or deficiencies.

Required

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Proven working experience as a Construction Project Manager, overseeing multiple construction projects.

Proven working experience in the finance sector, retail, office and data centres would be highly advantageous.

Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and techniques.

Extensive experience in project management, including creating project plans, managing budgets, and ensuring adherence to schedules.

Proficient in using project management software and tools.

Availability to travel to project sites across the UK and Northern Ireland, as needed.
