We are recruiting for a reliable, enthusiastic individual to join our team on a casual basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for flexible work and enjoys being part of a team. Our casual contract offers flexibility through a minimum contract of 8 hours per week, with the ability to work between 8 hours and full time as the business requires.
As an Environmental Services Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring Liverpool ONE remains clean, presentable and operational at all times. Working across the estate, you will support high standards of cleanliness, waste management and public safety in both indoor, outdoor and underground areas. A Cat B driving licence is essential to the role due to the cleaning machinery used.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning duties across the estate including malls, public areas, toilets, external walkways and back of house areas.
- Sweep, mop, pressure wash and maintain external spaces across the 48-acre site.
- Collect, segregate and dispose of waste and recycling safely and efficiently.
- Operate waste compactors and support waste management procedures.
- Respond promptly to spillages, hazards and emergency cleaning requests.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly.
- Support the team in maintaining health & safety standards across the estate.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with visitors, retailers and contractors.
- Patrol designated areas to identify cleanliness or safety concerns.
