Overview
In this role you will provide financial leadership and commercial support to engineering operations, driving profitability and robust governance. You will lead a finance team, ensure timely monthly management accounts, and deliver insightful reporting to support decision-making. You will partner with operational stakeholders to interpret performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support budgeting and Group reporting. This is a hands-on role at a scale that values development, integrity, and cross-functional collaboration. You will contribute to a culture of high performance and continuous improvement in a critical business area.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a finance team to high performance
- Produce monthly management accounts and financial reporting on time and accurately
- Analyse revenue, margins, costs and KPIs to identify risks and opportunities
- Partner with operations and commercial teams to provide financial insight for decisions
- Support budgeting, forecasting, working capital management, audits and Group reporting
Key requirements
- ACCA or CIMA qualified
- minimum five years' management accounting experience in industry
- at least two years' people management experience
- advanced Excel with strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
