Overview
In this role you assess client sites and translate requirements into tailored fire and security solutions. You will work with key account teams to design, quote, and deliver bespoke installations for high-profile clients, while managing your own diary and travel. You act as a technical expert from initial consultation through to solution design, ensuring compliance with standards and on-time delivery. This position combines field surveying with collaboration across Sales, Operations, and Account Management to drive value and growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys for key and national account customers
- Develop bespoke fire and security solutions based on client needs
- Produce accurate quotations, technical specifications, and documentation
- Create system designs and drawings to support proposed solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Manage customer expectations and ensure service commitments are met
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Account Management to support growth
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Manage own diary and travel schedule to cover designated area
Key requirements
- Strong technical knowledge across fire and/or electronic security systems
- Solid understanding of applicable fire and security standards and regulations
- Ability to translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a field-based role
