Mobile Security Team Leader in Essex

b Overview /b p In this role you will safeguard property and people by applying site-specific security instructions and maintaining high standards of operation. You’ll serve as the frontline security lead, guiding day-to-day activities, training, and compliance across the team to meet KPIs and protect the contract. You will handle investigations, handovers, and records while upholding data protection rules. This position offers a hands-on chance to develop security operations, mentor staff, and contribute to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Oversee day-to-day security operations and serve as the first point of contact for the team /li li Train and induct new security officers on site procedures (CCTV, access control, alarms) /li li Foster teamwork and morale, and monitor officer performance and development /li li Assist in investigations of security incidents, thefts, and complaints /li li Ensure adherence to Assignment Instructions and effective security handovers and messaging /li li Maintain up-to-date security records/logs and ensure data protection compliance /li li Support continuous improvement of security performance and customer service /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Previous Security Experience /li li SIA License /li li SC Clearance desirable /li li Strong literacy and communication abilities (verbal and written) /li li Computer literacy /li li Reliability, self-motivation, and ability to work without supervision /li li Problem-solving and prioritisation skills /li li Ability to influence and motivate staff /li li Self-confidence and commitment to self-development /li li Interest in improving company performance /li li Excellent attendance and timekeeping record /li /ul ul li communication /li li reliability /li li initiative /li li CCTV /li li access control systems /li li fire alarms /li /ul
