We're looking for an Electrical Project Manager who will deliver projects within the Major Projects (MP) portfolio, overseeing the construction, installation, and commissioning of new electricity contestable connections up to 132kV, along with associated Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) infrastructure.Role Responsibilities:Deliver end-to-end project management, ensuring scope, budget, and client expectations are consistently met.Manage a portfolio of projects and maintain accurate internal/external reporting.Engage clients for design feedback and approval submissions.Plan programmes of work with key client contacts, establishing milestones and deliverables.Monitor financial control, including variations, and keep accurate budget records.Prepare detailed work instructions and ensure installation teams are fully briefed.Conduct audits on site activities and suppliers, raising and mitigating non-conformances.Ensure compliance with NRSWA, HAUC, DNO, and IDNO specifications.Undertake final quality audits and submit accurate documentation for client/DNO approval.Required QualificationsProject Management qualification – EssentialFull UK Driving Licence – EssentialProven experience as a Project Manager within HV/LV installations – EssentialStrong knowledge of contestable connections up to 132kV – EssentialExcellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to forward plan – EssentialWhat's in it for you?Work on high-profile, large-scale energy projects shaping the UK's infrastructure.Be part of a collaborative, supportive environment that values professional growth.Competitive salary, benefits, and career progression opportunities.There's a place for you at Mitie — join us today!Ref:102987 Location:Bromsgrove Employment:Full time Role Classification:1
