Overview
In this role you will maintain, test, and repair electrical systems across a busy hospital environment to keep essential services safe and compliant. You will work as part of a team to diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and certify electrical installations in line with healthcare standards. Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on electrical systems, plant, and equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify faults on lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and standby power systems.
- Perform electrical testing, inspections, and certification in line with current regulations and healthcare standards.
- Install, modify, and commission electrical systems, containment, wiring, and distribution boards.
- Support critical hospital services while maintaining health, safety, compliance, and customer service.
Key requirements
- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Inspection and Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
- Experience maintaining commercial or healthcare electrical systems with a strong understanding of health and safety legislation
- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Inspection and Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
- Experience maintaining commercial or healthcare electrical systems with health and safety focus
