Reference: 102642Crime and Intelligence ManagerJob DescriptionDay to day supervision of the client's Crime & Intelligence teamProduce Crime & Intelligence Analysis to an excellent standard in order to support the workload of the analytical team which can be used as best practice standardsMentor, train and develop the skills of the Crime Analysts in order to ensure comparison to national standards and excellent customer service/service delivery to the clientLead on local and national crime partnership/external and internal partnership assessment, review and relationship managementDevelop, review and continuously improve all analytical processes and procedures to ensure high standards and efficiencyPromote and progress intelligence-led deployment of security resources and identify and promote other intelligence-led opportunitiesWork and communicate with other support functions as appropriate to ensure workflow is effective and delivers the right output in the right timescalesWork closely with other departmental leads, including the Security Operations Lead and SOC Lead, to ensure effective collaboration, clear handovers and smooth, consistent processes across all service provisions where necessaryLead the team in a way that is in line with company values and behaviours and leading the team to fulfil their potential and to exceed client's expectationsInvolve team in problem solving, workflow creation and improvement ideas to gain the best solutions whilst creating the buy in and engagement of team membersProactively manage the team to ensure high levels of performance and attendance including daily huddles, 121s and PDRsWork closely with the Crime Analysts to deliver a service that creates tangible and maximum return on investment for the client, and can drive the resource to risk deploymentEnsure the team respond to all customer calls and requests within target guidelines and give our customers an excellent customer experience at all timesEnsure processing standards are high and errors minimisedEnsure compliance with GDPR and other relevant legislation and Company and Client quality standardsEscalate any incident outside of experience or control and follow all actions as specified regard to issues arising during the course of their dutiesIdentify security intelligence & information sources networks with public, law enforcement & government agencies, maintaining a close working partnership Assess, define and lead intelligence partnerships to create value for the client in the long term. E.g. Police, Government agencies, other retailers and third-party networksWork closely with the wider internal intelligence network to ensure we leverage our resources in support of the clientComplete ad-hoc projects as designated by the retail management team, the client, or Head of Sector – Retail on time and to a high standard of qualityQualifications Essential Skills and ExperienceDemonstrate leadership skills and experience and possess a proven track record for building and managing winning teams of professional crime analystsExcellent report-writing and analytical skills with sharp attention to detailComputer literate with a variety of software, including Microsoft Office and bespoke softwareAbility to lead and motivate a team to provide excellent customer serviceAbility to build and maintain relationships with a strong teamwork ethicGood educational background and a solid command of written and spoken EnglishExperience of working within a demanding fast-paced environmentStrong communication and customer service skillsGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and ExcelAbility to work under pressure and make quick decisionsGood communication skills, verbal and writtenExperience of team workingReliable, flexible and discreetExperience of working in a controlled environmentSolid organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and achieve tight deadlinesAbility to accurately follow detailed processesAbility to build and maintain relationships with a strong teamwork ethicA positive attitude and ability to deal with pressure professionallyDesirable Skills and ExperienceKnowledge of the retail market and/or experience of working within law enforcementRelevant security industry experience - ability to demonstrate an understanding of SOC requirements and processesSIA Licence holder - CCTV & minimum non-front line Guarding.
