Overview
In this role you will deliver essential building fabric services on site, working closely with the management team to keep facilities well-maintained. You will handle a mix of plumbing, carpentry, and basic M&E tasks, and you may supervise trainees and other technicians. The position focuses on reliable service delivery, preventative maintenance, and strong client communication. This is an on-site role at a Mitie facility where your hands-on skills and customer care will directly impact building performance.

Responsibilities
- Perform basic plumbing, ceiling repairs, carpet fitting, door closers, roof and gutter cleaning, emergency light testing, painting, and basic carpentry
- Carry out minor mechanical/electrical repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
- Supervise trainees and technicians as advised and coordinate with management on resource needs
Key requirements
- Experience in facilities management or building services
- Ideal to be qualified in a Building Services discipline
