Overview
In this role you oversee hard services maintenance across multiple GPA sites, ensuring safe systems of work and statutory compliance. You lead engineering teams, coordinate maintenance activities, and manage subcontractors to meet contractual requirements. You’ll support mobilisation, lifecycle projects, and performance reporting, driving continuous service improvements. This is a hands-on leadership role in a safety‑driven, customer‑focused environment.

Responsibilities
- Supervise engineering teams across multiple sites to deliver planned preventative and reactive maintenance
- Monitor statutory compliance, health and safety requirements, and safe systems of work
- Conduct site inspections, audits, RAMS reviews, and quality checks
- Manage specialist subcontractors, investigate issues, resolve service failures, and maintain client relationships
- Support mobilisation projects, lifecycle replacement works, operational reporting, budget management, and continuous service improvements
Key requirements
- Recognised apprenticeship in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering with relevant qualifications
- Experience supervising engineering teams and subcontractors in building services/FM
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building services systems
- Ability to interpret drawings and maintenance documentation; proficient in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems
- Full UK Driving Licence; excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
