Overview
In this role you will maintain critical building services in a public sector facility, performing planned and reactive electrical maintenance. You will work within a supportive engineering team to ensure safe, reliable operation and deliver small electrical projects. Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site
- Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on electrical and building services systems
- Deliver minor electrical installation works and support lifecycle and small project activities
- Supervise subcontractors, manage permits to work, and ensure health & safety compliance
- Complete CAFM records accurately and maintain strong client relations
Key requirements
- Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills with building services plant experience
- Solid understanding of health & safety legislation, safe systems of work, and CAFM systems
- Full UK Driving Licence with good communication and customer service skills
