Overview
In this role you lead a team of engineers across North East Scotland College sites to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance.
You will ensure works meet SLA/KPI targets and oversee asset management and remedial actions.
You will coach and develop engineers while driving continuous improvement and strong customer service.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise engineers delivering PPM, reactive maintenance, and quoted works across multiple sites
- Ensure all works are safe, efficient, and in line with contractual SLA and KPI requirements
- Monitor asset management activities, maintenance schedules, and timely remedial actions following inspections
- Promote compliance with health & safety standards, RAMS, permit-to-work systems, and company procedures
- Coach, mentor and develop engineering teams while driving continuous improvement, engagement, and operational excellence
- Key requirements
- Proven experience in Building Services, Facilities Management, or Engineering Supervisory role
- Strong understanding of planned and reactive maintenance in a commercial environment
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation, compliance requirements, and safe systems of work
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise workloads while maintaining high service standards
