We are looking for an experienced M&E Supervisor to supervise service delivery and team/individual performance within M&E teams, acting as a first point of contact for Site FM and employees. Deliver the highest level of service for the client, answering queries, reporting defects and keeping clients informed of site activities during service visits. Complete all work‑related documentation accurately and on time, keeping a log of inspection reports and remedial work. Perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces, and participate in shift pattern. Use a mobile device for communication. Have experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment. Possess relevant electrical qualifications and supervisory experience managing a team of engineers. Have knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, safe systems of working and a good understanding of RAMS.

Main Duties:

  • Assist the Facilities Manager and Account Manager in supervising and delivering a range of planned, reactive and project works.
  • Work collaboratively with the client, engineering and support teams to meet all contract requirements, KPIs, and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Work with planning team to deliver preventative planned maintenance and reactive works, reducing WIP historical works.
  • Prepare all documentation required to carry out the work allocated.
  • Maximise resources and deliver the optimum number of jobs, ensuring work is carried out in a timely fashion and to client satisfaction.
  • Take a proactive approach to customer care, resolving day‑to‑day issues and escalating where required.
  • Maximise utilisation of CAFM system to manage service delivery, record retention and reliability of management report data.
  • Provide line management to a team of engineers, including coaching, mentoring and developing team members.
  • Efficiently manage resources ensuring teams have the materials, equipment, capability and capacity to deliver.
  • Drive continual improvement through innovation to improve quality, efficiency and process.
  • Report all incidents, accidents and near misses including non‑compliant or unsafe conditions at the earliest opportunity.
  • Complete regular task audits to provide safety and quality assurance.
  • Carry out investigations and provide findings as required.
  • Proactively engage with the team to brief, consult and obtain feedback, addressing concerns and resolving issues.
  • Ensure the team are suitably trained and competent, and resolve any learning gaps.

Person Specification:

  • NVQ level 3 or higher in an Electrical and/or Mechanical discipline.
  • IOSH Managing Safely (will be provided).
  • Experience in people management and supervisory experience.
  • Ability to professionally liaise with client representatives and management.
  • Good general knowledge of health and safety, facilities services and operational practices.
  • Sound understanding of company procedures and practices.
  • Good time management skills.
  • MS Office literacy desirable.
  • Experience carrying out site inductions to third parties attending to carry out works.
