Job Title: Cleaning Supervisor (Rail Depot)
Rate of Pay: £16.50 per hour
Contract: Permanent, Part Time
Weekly Contractual Hours: 32.5 (7 hours per day with 30 minutes unpaid break - Monday to Friday - 8AM to 3PM)
Location: Hitachi Rail, Bridge Road, Bounds Green, London, Greater London, England, N22 7SN
Role
We are seeking a Site Supervisor to join our rail depot team, with a clear pathway to progress into a Site Manager role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven supervisory experience, strong character, and the drive to lead and inspire a team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site cleaning operations within the rail depot while ensuring strict compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Lead and support team members to achieve operational goals.
- Promptly report any site issues using online systems.
- Maintain effective communication with management and stakeholders.
- Support growth into a Site Manager position with full training and ongoing development.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in cleaning supervisory roles.
- Strong character with excellent leadership skills.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of Health & Safety; training will be provided.
- Proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Competent in responding to emails and reporting site issues online.
