Responsibilities:
- Leading a team on the Canal and River Trust contract to achieve the highest level of service to the client.
- Effectively planning maintenance work across the contract ensuring efficient use of labour, materials and equipment.
- Leading by example to implement a positive health and safety culture.
- Providing a daily productivity report.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A passion for working outdoors.
- Prepared to work in an agile and flexible working environment.
- A good understanding of smartphone technology and able to understand GIS data.
- Grounds Maintenance experience.

Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team at the UK's market leading FM company. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be supporting them in ensuring your team deliver the exceptional every day.
You will be working in partnership with Canal & River Trust, the UK's largest canal charity, who care for a 2,000-mile network of stunning canals and navigable rivers. Connecting many of the UK's urban and rural areas, we provide essential spaces for wildlife and people, helping us all feel happier and healthier.
The 250-year-old waterways in our care - the canals, embankments, culverts and reservoirs as well as the bridges, locks and towpaths - and their vital ecosystems are threatened by the growing impact of climate change and more extreme weather. They need constant upkeep and investment. Without it, they face decline and closure, and we risk losing the incredible benefits they bring.
