Location: Hull Royal Infirmary, Craven Building, Anlaby Road, Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England, HU3 2JZ

We are looking for a Waste Operative to join the Waste and Cleaning team to undertake the collection, movement, sorting, processing and dispatch of waste and other materials including the compaction of waste and cardboard.

You should be capable of working and staying compliant to Health and Safety regulations, monitor the performance of equipment, provide support to the On-Site Waste Coordinator to complete site objective and make sure to follow PPE guidance.

You will hold a current Counter Balance FLT license, be prepared to would outside including in extreme weather conditions, have a good level of communicative English as well as be detail conscious and excellent time management skills to follow tight deadlines. You will also be required to pass a DBS Check and undertake a drugs/alcohol screening test prior to starting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Health & Safety training, an understanding of waste management and environmental legislation, have previous experience in the use of static balers and compactors and also be capable of carrying out strenuous tasks.
