Responsibilities
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across AC, mechanical, electrical, and building fabric systems.
- Maintain, repair and fault‑find AC systems including split systems, VRV/VRF and heat pumps.
- Carry out installations, upgrades and minor modifications as required.
- Ensure all work complies with legislation, safety standards and company procedures.
- Communicate clearly with customers, colleagues, and contractors to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Accurately complete electronic job records, reports, RAMS and compliance documentation.
- Identify improvements to equipment performance, reliability and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service and proactively identify maintenance or health & safety concerns.
- Participate in an on‑call rota for emergency works.
Working Pattern & Flexibility
- Core hours: 08:00 – 17:00
- Flexible working arrangements where operationally possible
- Shared on‑call standby rota
Essential Experience & Skills
- Experience in commercial maintenance or facilities management
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload
- Digital job management capability
- Full UK driving licence
- Customer‑focused, professional manner
Role‑specific Qualifications
Air Conditioning / HVAC
- NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration
- F‑Gas Certification
Electrical (if applicable)
- NVQ Level 3 or Electrical Apprenticeship
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent)
