Role Responsibilities
- Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off – Day Shift: 06:00–18:00, Night Shift: 18:00–06:00
- Performing planned preventative maintenance on gas appliances to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Responding to reactive and emergency service requests for gas appliances and systems, and completing required tasks within contractual timescales.
- Anticipating, diagnosing, and repairing faults in various plant equipment, such as gas boilers, heating plants, pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Collaborating with the wider engineering and support teams to enhance overall service quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Substantial experience in conducting maintenance, testing, and fault‑finding on a variety of plant equipment, particularly related to gas appliances and systems.
- Relevant gas qualifications, including COCN1, CCN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CODNCO1, or equivalents.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
- A proactive and flexible approach to problem‑solving, with the ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on providing clear, concise, and empathetic feedback to customers.
