ROLE: Multi Skilled Shift Electrical Engineer
HOURS: 4on 4 off days and nights

We're looking for an Multi Skilled Shift Electrical Engineer who can deliver a safe, compliant, and efficient electrical maintenance service across a busy operational government site, ensuring minimal disruption to critical operations and full compliance with statutory requirements.
Role Responsibilities
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with SFG20, statutory requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Complete reactive maintenance tasks, fault finding, and repairs across LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, power systems, and controls.
- Ensure all electrical systems are maintained in a safe, compliant, and fully operational condition.
- Support statutory inspections and work in accordance with Health & Safety procedures, permits, and safe systems of work.
- Update CAFM systems with detailed job notes, completion evidence, and status updates whilst highlighting risks, non-compliance, and recurring issues.
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- Experience delivering PPM and reactive maintenance within a commercial or public sector environment.
- Completed a recognised time-served apprenticeship.
- Experience working with CAFM systems.
