We are looking for a Billable Works Supervisor to join our expanding team, managing the commercial and operational delivery of chargeable works across multiple disciplines. This role plays a key part in supporting maintenance operations by taking identified works and converting them into accurate, well-managed and compliant billable projects from quotation through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed quotations for remedial and small works following site assessments completed by Maintenance Managers.
- Review scope of works, materials required, labour costs and supply chain input to ensure quotations are commercially accurate and competitive.
- Oversee the delivery of approved works, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, governance protocols and quality standards.
- Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), ensuring all documentation, training and compliance requirements are in place prior to works commencing.
- Coordinate contractors, including booking, onboarding and ongoing performance management.
- Track project progress, manage billable works records via CAFM systems and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify risks, resolve issues proactively and ensure projects are delivered on time and within agreed budgets.
- Raise purchase orders, monitor costs and support continuous improvement across processes and systems.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, internal teams and external suppliers at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience in a facilities management, maintenance or project coordination environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience preparing quotations, costings or estimates.
- Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CAFM systems.
- Ability to review and understand RAMS and health & safety procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Calm, detail-oriented and proactive approach when working under pressure.
