Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues. It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence; owning transport is an advantage.

Vetting: It is vital that you have a full 5‑year checkable employment/education history; failure to do so could mean your offer will be withdrawn or your employment terminated.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver industry leading customer service
  • Deter violence and public order offences
  • Conduct patrols of the store
  • Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
  • Liaise with the store management teams
  • Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store
  • Wear Body‑Worn CCTV to support the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
