We are looking for an experienced and motivated Plumber to work within Dungavel IRC carrying out planned pro-active maintenance by providing a multi-skilled service which covers Plumbing, mechanical, and building fabric disciplines. Along with carrying out any modifications and installations as and when required.

You should be capable of working to high levels of health & safety and statutory requirements, ensuring you take ownership of tools and equipment and that they are maintained to an appropriate standard. You should be able to repair and calibrate electrical, mechanical instrumentation as well as completing documentation as required, including RAMS and adhere to all associated permits.

The ideal candidate would have a background working within commercial properties and installations and be qualified to NVQ Level 3 Plumbing, in addition to having good knowledge of building statutory compliance. You will have a full current driving licence, be IT literate for record keeping and have good customer service skills.

Our skilled engineers are employed on work that is appropriate to their core and specialist skills. They will, however, be expected to have/acquire elements or other skills which will enable them to work flexibly across trades.

You will be part of the In House Out of Hours On Call Team to where you will be on call for 7 days over a 4 Week Period to where On call allowance will be included.
