Relief Security Officer – Ilfracombe & Barnstaple Area
Pay: £13.45 per hour | Part time | Flexible Shifts | Must drive and have own vehicle.
We're looking for a professional, reliable, and flexible Relief Security Officer to join our team in the Southampton, Totton and Hedge End areas.
Responsibilities
- Provide a visible and vigilant security presence across various client sites.
- Follow site‑specific Assignment Instructions (AI's) and ensure full compliance.
- Maintain a high standard of personal and professional conduct.
- Ensure the safety of the public and staff by proactively monitoring for risks and hazards.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and effectively.
- Accurately document incidents and ensure all reporting procedures are followed.
- Make timely check calls and emergency contacts as required.
- Attend and complete all required training and development programmes.
Qualifications
- Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision - CCTV PSS preferred).
- Previous security experience (retail security experience is an advantage).
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Strong communication skills and a calm, confident approach under pressure.
