We're looking for a reliable and organised Logistics Operative to coordinate the receipt, movement, storage and disposal of goods across our Swanwick site, while supporting the wider Workplace and Facilities Management teams.

Role Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the receipt, distribution, collection, storage and disposal of parcels, equipment and other goods across multiple locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections and stored items, ensuring audit, security and compliance requirements are met.
  • Safely operate logistics equipment and vehicles, including forklift trucks, pallet trucks, flatbed trucks and tail-lift vehicles, following the appropriate training.
  • Support furniture moves, workplace projects, housekeeping activities and other operational requirements across the sites.
  • Provide excellent customer service when working with colleagues, customers, suppliers and service providers.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:

  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain SC Security Clearance.
  • Understanding of safe working practices, manual handling requirements and health and safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within logistics, distribution, facilities management, workplace services or a customer-facing operational environment.
  • A proactive, flexible and reliable approach, with the ability to work across the Hedge End and Swanwick sites.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the confidence to work with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while taking individual responsibility for completing tasks accurately and safely.
  • A forklift truck licence, material handling certification or knowledge of inventory and asset management processes would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
