We're looking for a Site Manager to lead facilities services across two education sites—Hadley Learning Community and Queensway North—ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality environments that support teaching, learning and community use.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the on-site Premises Team (Cleaning and Caretaking), ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery
- Plan and deliver preventative and reactive maintenance activities, maintaining high standards of site performance and presentation
- Work closely with the Facilities Manager to prioritise and resolve maintenance and cleaning requirements in line with contractual expectations
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders including school leadership, subcontractors and the wider FM team
- Promote a positive health, safety and safeguarding culture, ensuring compliance with all Mitie policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in facilities, site or premises management within a similar environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Outstanding levels of people management and team collaboration methods.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced setting
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work
- Proactive, flexible and customer-focused approach, with a keen eye for detail and service quality
